Devoke Water - Lake District Walk

No trip to Eskdale is complete without doing one of our favourite walks around Devoke Water.

Route: Birker Fell Road - Rough Crag - Water Crag - Devoke Water - Birker Fell Road
Distance: 3 miles Ascent: 145 metres Time Taken: 3 hours

We had set off in the afternoon in the hope of catching the evening sun on Devoke Water.

The Boat House was catching the evening sun just as I had hoped.
